Licensed electricians serving St. Charles homes and businesses — EV chargers, panel upgrades, standby generators, and everyday electrical repairs.
St. Charles runs its own municipal electric utility rather than ComEd, so service upgrades and new meters here go through the City instead of the usual channels. It’s a small difference that trips up contractors from outside the area — and it’s one reason it pays to hire someone who works Kane County regularly.
We cover the whole city, from the older homes on both banks of the Fox River to the newer subdivisions out toward Randall Road. Our licensed electricians pull the City of St. Charles permit, handle the utility coordination, and label the panel before we leave. Free estimates, upfront pricing, and a 5-year workmanship warranty on installations.
Outlets, switches, circuits, lighting, and troubleshooting anywhere in the house.
Offices, retail, and warehouses — service calls, lighting, and buildouts.
Level 2 home chargers wired, permitted, and inspected — usually in one visit.
Whole-home standby generators with automatic transfer switches, sized for your house.
100-amp to 200-amp service upgrades for homes running out of breakers.
Smart switches, doorbells, network runs, and structured cabling.
Same crew, same phone number as before — now 100% electrical. Read our Google reviews or meet the team.
Every job is led by a licensed, insured electrician and wired to current code. We pull the permit, stay through the inspection, test the work before we leave, and back our installations with a 5-year workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer’s warranty.
The City of St. Charles, through its Building and Code Enforcement Division — and because the city also runs its own electric utility, the permit and the utility work get coordinated through the same municipal channels rather than through ComEd. We file the permit, schedule the inspection, and deal with the utility side ourselves.
Most of the city is served by the City of St. Charles municipal electric utility, but not every address — some outlying and later-annexed areas are on ComEd. It matters because it changes who your service upgrade or new meter goes through, and how long the scheduling takes. Your bill will tell you, and if you’re not sure, we check before quoting so there are no surprises mid-job.
